
A/V Trainees took a college-level, Audio Visual Technology course, at Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology The trainees got a comprehensive, introductory overview of science and technology for audio, visual and audiovisual systems integration and hands on experience working with cutting edge equipment.
Trainees learned what proper lighting looks like, using camera’s, using their phones, and video cameras. The students worked with the professor to learn to network computers to audio and video equipment. Trainee’s final project was to create their own video on their families. PC Hardware included an analysis of the entire build of a computer and each of its components, individual components purpose and relationship to one another, proper safety practices, troubleshooting various hardware and software elements, and the professional industry standards and practices that define an "IT Specialist."
