Networks are a big factor in today’s interconnected world and by learning the
fundamental idea of how networks operate. The students would learn about the basic idea of how
networks get maintained and some good practices on setting up networks. The idea of this course gives students a basic understanding of networks’ importance to their daily online social activities.

Here are some of the projects created by the students in Networking. Students choice a topic and had to write about it and got to choice to do it in google docs or in a PowerPoint presentation. We turned all the projects into videos for easier viewing on the web.

Intro to Networking goes through the basic foundations of Computer Networking In this workshop we students got learn about: 

Networking Devices and their functions, Networking Cables and Wires, Hands on training of Building Ethernet Cables, The purpose of Topologies, ISO Model, Internet Protocols, Networking Security, Pv4 & IPv6 and IP Addressing & Subnetting.

They also explored what the Internet is, Education and Jobs in the field. Students gained a whole new outlook on their own internet and computer usage and just how physical and can be.
